Hello Friends!
We had a blast playing The Ribby last night! Of course we did… We have a blast every time we are at the Ribhouse. In fact, we have a blast pretty much every time the five of us get up on a stage to play music together.
So, yeah… Great night! We missed some of our friends that were out of town, but we made a few new ones and had a pretty good crowd dancing and singing along with us.
Of course our big news today is
that we get to go back to the Ribby and play again just next week!
Mostly Harmless is thrilled to be playing RibStock 2024, this Sunday, Feb 18! We will be in the lead-off position playing at 1PM. Just one hour of our Most Fun, Most Danceable Rock and Roll. We are whittling down our set list now and it ain’t easy! So I hope you come see us, and then I hope you stick around, because we will be kicking off a full day of amazing live music.
In case you’ve been living under a rock for the last 13 years, RibStock is the area’s biggest and best indoor music festival, and this year features nine (nine!) of the area’s best bands and musicians. We are proud and pleased to be sharing the stage with RibStock veterans and local legends like Basic Cable, Former Strangers, Nat Attack, and Hot Sauce Junkies, among others.
Doors open at noon and the music kicks off at 1PM (with us!). It is a $10 donation to get in the door. All proceeds benefit a select handful of non-profit and charity organizations in the Bridgeport / Norristown community. Come and go as you like over the course of the day.
Paul Hammond & Friends will return as the perennial headliners. Fans of live music will not want to miss them. PH&F includes members of international touring acts Get The Led Out and Candlebox. The last hour tends to be a “let’s see how many amazing musicians we can fit on the stage at one time” kind of jam session. It’s a great day of amazing music for a worthy cause. And it is an event like no other. You won’t want to miss it and hope to see you there!
